Sultans of String are an eclectic Canadian band led by violinist Chris McKhool. They draw on a multitude of influences, including flamenco, Gypsy-jazz, Arabic, and Cuban music.

They expanded their musical horizons even further on their latest album, Subcontinental Drift, which they recorded with the Pakistani sitar master, Anwar Kurshid.

They were joined by Kurshid in this studio session, which included a most unconventional Bob Dylan cover.
