Sultans of String are an eclectic Canadian band led by violinist Chris McKhool. They draw on a multitude of influences, including flamenco, Gypsy-jazz, Arabic, and Cuban music. They expanded their musical horizons even further on their latest album, Subcontinental Drift, which they recorded with the Pakistani sitar master, Anwar Kurshid.
