Smith Westerns - FUV Live - 2013

Earlier this Summer, Smith Westerns arrived at WFUV prepared to play an acoustic session of songs from their latest album Soft Will. This unplugged performance mirrors the subtle sonic adjustments that the rakish Chicago rockers have made since their 2009 debut. Not that the band's latest release doesn't reverberate with a certain punkish bravado, but there's grander maturity to Smith Westerns' taut songcraft these days as you'll hear during this FUV Live session with the band.
