I am bereft to share the news that Rita Houston, WFUV's program director and host of "The Whole Wide World," passed away yesterday. Rita courageously battled cancer for six years. She was beloved by listeners and musicians alike and she was essential to WFUV. Rita recorded her final "Whole Wide World" to air on Friday December 18th at 6pm. We will also celebrate her life in a special program on Friday January 1st at 6pm.
