Reigning Sound - FUV Live - 2014

Formed in 2001 by Greg Cartwright, Reigning Sound has gone through many line-up changes and sonic shifts over the years. One thing that has remained consistent is Cartwright’s skillful musicianship, which he’s lent to a variety of other projects. You may be familiar with his early '90s garage punk band, The Oblivians, or his work with the bands Compulsive Gamblers and Detroit Cobras. Reigning Sound is his main focus though, and with they recently finished a new album called Shattered. The record is a thoughtful and rousing collection of songs that blend Greg's love of rock and soul.

Reigning Sound recently stopped by Studio A to play us some of the new songs and to talk with me about Shattered, and we’ll hear that conversation and performance during this episode of FUV Live.
