Looking for a good time? You can't go wrong with Pan Arcadia, a New York quintet.

I first heard them in 2023 when they released their self-titled album.  I enjoyed them so much that I played them a couple of times on "NY Slice" and on FUV's year-end list with the staff's best of the year, I listed them as my favorite musical discovery too.

Through their music, Pan Arcadia revive a classic New York garage rock sound, but they add a vibrantly raw new energy that is the perfect soundtrack to any summer shenanigans. They are all genuine New Yorkers too: vocalist Eamon Rush, guitarist Gabe Gonzalez, guitarist Dylan Kelly, bassist Henry McGrath and drummer Brian Duke.

You can hear the five boroughs in their accents when they speak and in their swagger when they play, and they've played this city inside and out, from Washington Square Park to Rockaway Beach, and venues like Bowery Ballroom, Baby's All Right and now Studio A for "NY Slice Sessions." In addition to playing "Weeks Ago" and "Deja Vu," the band's Eamon, Gabe and Brian also took over the FUV music library for our "NY Slice Sessions Pop Quiz."
