Old 97's: Rockwood Music Hall 2017
It's been twenty years since 1997, and the Dallas band Old 97's has now been together in its original lineup for nearly half a decade longer than that. What's equally impressive is how each new album from the Texans gives their fans even more reasons to proudly call themselves "Wreckers."
Now back with an eleventh album, there are eleven new songs to prove it. Graveyard Whistling showcases all of the fantastic songwriting, storytelling, and wit that makes Old 97's such a beloved band. Their reliably raucous FUV Live performance at Rockwood Music Hall was a gratifying mix of new and old favorites.
