Brooklyn's Nada Surf has long played sessions and concerts for FUV since the release of their fifth album, 2008's Lucky. They even celebrated their 20th anniversary with FUV, with an exuberant gig at Rockwood Music Hall.

So it made perfect sense that to mark their 10th album, this year's Moon Mirror, a post-30th anniversary (and a new label, New West), Nada Surf celebrated their artistic longevity and tenacity with a robust and joyful FUV Marquee Member show at New York's The Sheen Center, hosted by Alisa Ali.

Nada Surf — which for this FUV concert was guitarist and singer Matthew Caws, keyboardist Louie Lino, drummer Ira Elliot, and touring bassist Ed Valauskas — jumped into a career-spanning set for FUV, including Moon Mirror's "In Front of Me Now" and "Second Skin," and the Bob Dylan-inspired "Blonde on Blonde" from 1998's Let Go.

The group is touring for the balance of 2024 — but will kick off 2025 with a hometown show at Bowery Ballroom on January 11.
