Morning Brief: January 16
This year’s Oscar nominations are out, which means a lot of complaints from fans of the Lego Movie, which got snubbed for Best Animated Feature, Interstellar, which garnered no big nominations, and diversity in Hollywood, as not a single actor of color got an acting nomination. The Lower Hudson Valley had something to celebrate though, as LoHud.com proudly shares area residents getting Oscar noms including Bill Murray and Foxcatcher director Bennett Miller
