Mikaela Davis: 2018

A special delivery today on FUV Live, with songs from singer songwriter Mikaela Davis's debut album, Delivery.

Davis is a brilliant, young talent from Rochester, New York who has been studying harp since she was eight years old. She originally had plans of playing classical music in an orchestra, but changed her mind when she won a battle of the bands contest while still in college. After Davis graduated, she was signed to Rounder Records.

For Delivery, she worked with producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Angel Olsen) and collaborated with the Staves on backing vocals for a handful of songs too.

Davis joins us in Studio A today for a conversation and performance.
