Mass Gothic and Alisa Ali at WFUV

After spending a decade with Hooray For Earth, frontman Noel Heroux decided to dissolve that band and start from scratch. He began working on songs accompanied by his wife and musical partner Jessica Zambri (of the band, Zambri).

The new project is called Mass Gothic and the self-titled debut album was just released on Sub Pop. During this session of FUV Live, I talk to the band's members about their new musical direction and the genesis of the new songs. Mass Gothic also performs new songs live in Studio A.
