Mark Mulcahy: 2019

Veteran indie songwriter and band leader Mark Mulcahy was my guest on FUV Live (a "Cavalcade" edition) for music and conversation. Mulcahy came up in the New Haven music scene of the early-to-mid 1980's, and his band Miracle Legion became local heroes.

He performs two new songs, "Daisy Marie," and "Taking Baby Steps," in Studio A. When Mark was in a tough patch some years back, an amazing group of friends, like Thom Yorke, Michael Stipe, and the National, banded together to record his songs for his own benefit too, called Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs of Mark Mulcahy.
