Low: 2018
Twenty-five years into Low's career, the Minnesota band is still experimenting with sound and pushing boundaries. Formed in the early Nineties, Low defined the sound of the “slowcore” genre with their downbeat melodies and dark lyricism.
Their music has expanded into country and gospel at times too, and the trio's newest album, Double Negative, includes ventures into hip hop and electronic.
In this episode of FUV Live, Low's Alan Sparhawk, Mimi Parker and Steve Garrington chat about the road that led them to this new record.
