The Lemon Twigs: City Winery 2026

The fraternal order of New York's The Lemon Twigs — brothers Brian and Michael D'Addario — have a new album, Look For Your Mind!, that jubilantly revels in the jangling production, power pop, and the good vibrations of the Sixties and Seventies. It's fair to say that The Lemon Twigs have always looked back at the chamber pop templates laid down by the Beach Boys, the Byrds, and the Beatles, but that audiophile's devotion has also made Brian and Michael razor-sharp in the recording studio.

It's been a decade since The Lemon Twigs' official debut album, Do Hollywood, and since that time, the Long Island siblings continue to chase the warmth of analogue recording for their albums and EPs. For Look For Your Mind!, the D'Addario brothers brought their touring band, bassist Danny Ayala and drummer Reza Matin, into the studio for the first time to contribute. The result was fuller, more collaborative experience, rather than the brothers juggling all of the instrumentation themselves.

The Lemon Twigs — the full lineup of the D'Addarios, Ayala, and Martin – played an epic 21-song set at City Winery in August as for an FUV Live sessions concert. Below, watch videos of "Look for Your Mind," "2 or 3," and "I Just Can't Get Over Losing You."
