Kacey Musgraves: 2021

Kacey Musgraves is one of the biggest talents in music right now. She has deep roots in country, but her songs can't be confined to any one genre. Her latest album, Star-Crossed, proves that without a doubt and is one of my favorites of the year. At times the record is bouncy and upbeat, and at other times it's slow and reflective.

During my recent chat with Kacey, she talked about how important it is to her to reflect the full spectrum of emotions — the good and the bad. This is part of what makes her so relatable as an artist and as a person. She also talked about reinterpreting the Coldplay song, "Fix You" (video below).
