Juana Molina - FUV Live - 2014

After a very successful career as a comedy actor on TV in her home country of Argentina, Juana Molina released her debut album, Rara, in 1996. Though her switch from acting to music was surprising at first, it now makes perfect sense. She’s now on her sixth full-length album, Wed 21, and the songs show refinement and growth in her unique hypnotic style. Released last year, the album also features more electronic layers but maintains the entrancing vocals Molina has become known for. Juana Molina and her band recently stopped by Studio A to play us some of her latest material and to talk about the new record.
