Our friend Joseph Arthur is back with his first solo album in three years. It’s called Come Back World, and Arthur describes it as a record of rebirth and survival.

It’s an inspiring collection of songs he made out of necessity. Making this music helped him work his way through some tough, personal issues he’d been dealing with, and he’s now come out on the other side of a dark period with a renewed sense of positivity and musicality.

During this episode of FUV Live, I spoke with Arthur about his new shift in perspective and the journey of this new album. He also performed the new songs "I'll Be Around," "Tomorrow Today" and "Mayor of the Lower East Side" in Studio A.
