Jay Som: 2017

Jay Som is the music project of Oakland-based singer songwriter Melina Duterte. She’s got a fantastic new record out now, called Everybody Works, that explores myriad sonic landscapes. Lyrically speaking it’s quite a touching record too.

Duterte prides herself on her DIY attitude, and she wrote, recorded, produced, and played everything on the record herself. Now that Everybody Works is out, she's assembled a great live band to take these songs on the road.

We are so pleased that the Jay Som crew were able to stop by Studio A for this FUV Live session.
