Goose, the Wilton, Connecticut rockers with the gloriously grassroots, ever-growing following, sold out their debut concert at Madison Square Garden on June 28, playing an indefatigable four-hour set. It was a totemic moment in Goose's career, their biggest gig to date.

But days before that sprawling event, the quartet of Rick Mitarotonda, Trevor Weeks, Peter Anspach, and Cotter Ellis, gave some lucky fans and FUV Marquee Members the gift of a rousing, joyful concert at the far more intimate venue Racket, a rare club night for the band. Goose vivaciously jammed through a 12-song set that touched on all phases of their decade-plus career, with a special focus on 2025's Everything Must Go.

Another 2025 album, Chain Yer Dragon, dropped in August, made a surprise appearance just weeks after this show, but "Hot Love & The Lazy Poet," found on that album and co-written by Mitarotonda and longtime collaborator Matt Campbell, also landed in  this FUV set.

Watch videos of "Your Direction" and "Give It Time" from this remarkable night of Goose bringing their good vibes to the FUV flock.
