During this episode of WFUV's "Marquee Live at Home," we reconnect with an artist we've been fans of for about twenty years now: Citizen Cope.

Cope (a.k.a. Clarence Greenwood) is a great friend of the station and he has performed for us all over NYC in our Bronx studios, at Electric Lady Studios and Rockwood Music Hall, and at last year's WFUV High Line Bash at Milk Studios. But for this session, he played a solo, acoustic set from across the country at the famous Village Recording Studio in Santa Monica, California.

We heard songs from his latest album, Heroin and Helicopters, as well as some classics from the Citizen Cope catalog. Clarence also spoke with me about the current state of the music industry, what he's been doing to stay active these days, and gave us an update on new material.
