"Cavalcade" welcomes Kathleen Edwards for conversation at 8:30. From the post-9/11 benchmark of "Six O'Clock News" to last year's Covid-cathartic hit, "Hard On Everyone." Kathleen's song skill and humanism has kept her rolling through sometimes tough changes.

Kathleen opens up about her personal challenges, and the stance that all performers now face as audiences slowly gather again to rebuild the "old normal."

New arrivals this week include José González's nature-inspired album, Local Valley, and Fantastic Negrito's framing of the now-times through a veil of seventies smog in "Rolling Through California."

Also, The Lumineers, Jesse Malin, and more alternate Bob Dylan tracks from the ongoing Bootleg Series.

Listen tonight 6-9PM, or catch "Cavalcade" on demand in the Weekend Archives.
