Cavalcade for November 1

A dreamy start to the new month and "Cavalcade" at 4 p.m. weaves new songs by The War on Drugs, Rex Orange County, Harry Styles, and Everything But the Girl, that in their own unique way harks back to another time.
And the "Cavalcade Golden Anniversary LP Crate Dig" harks back to a very specific other time —November 1976, for the 50th anniversary needle drops of album releases from just that month by Tom Petty, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne and Lou Reed.
That's "Cavalcade," Sundays 4-7 p.m., on 90.7FM, streaming online, and in the Archives after broadcast.
