Cavalcade for May 10

"Cavalcade" at 4 p.m. celebrates new music by The Rolling Stones, and shares audio of their landmark press conference in New York last week, hosted by Conan O'Brien.
"In The Stars' is the latest highlight from the July-slated album release, Foreign Tongues, which was announced at a media event in Brooklyn on Tuesday. Looking fit and vigorous, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood sat with Conan O'Brien to talk about the album that came together quickly with a bunch of freshly written songs, but it connects with their last effort, Hackney Diamonds.
Featuring a few left over songs from that session, the album touts guest spots by the late Charlie Watts, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith, and Steve Winwood.
I'll play a few minutes of the conversation and the new song, to get things rolling (so to speak).
From there, I'll showcase fine new things by Kacey Musgraves, Aron! with Joe La Panic, Francis of Delirium, Goose, and The Womack Sisters.
That's "Cavalade," Sundays from 4-7 p.m.. on 90.7FM, streaming online, and in the Archives after broadcast.
