Cavalcade for June 28

At 6:30 p.m. tonight, "Cavalcade' whisks you to Steinway Hall for a command performance by Bruce Hornsby. The well-heeled piano man offers new songs in this FUV Live session, with new approaches to old favorites, and a loving nod to fallen heroes of the Dead-verse: Bobby Weir and Phil Lesh.
New music arrives by Bailen, Jim James, and Jon Batiste. And a salute to the late record-biz mogul Clive Davis will include a tune that name-drops him, along with others that sing about the glory days of the industry that has been nearly entirely replaced by a DIY gig economy.
