Actor David Duchovny is best known as agent Fox Mulder on "The X Files," and maybe less well known for a smaller role on the equally edgy precursor to the '90s smash series, David Lynch's "Twin Peaks."
Did you know that Duchovny is a recording artist too? The brainy native New Yorker, who has published five books, also has four albums under his belt, and puts a new one out in fall called Prince of Pieces. A song from it ignites a "Cavalcade" of songs related to "The X Files" that are in complete conspiracy with each other.
Brandi Carlile will release a reimagining of last year's Returning to Myself in new arrangements.
The truth is also out there in new songs by LP, Beck, and Fontaines D.C.
That's "Cavalcade," Sundays from 4-7 p.m., on 90.7FM, streaming online and in the Archives after broadcast.
