Bully: 2018

The Nashville-based Bully is the brainchild of Alicia Bognanno. She studied audio recording in college and began writing her own music at the time too.

Liz Phair, Kathleen Hanna and the Breeders were resonating with Bognanno during this period and that sound certainly seeped into her own music as well. Her new album, Losing, has an updated riot grrrl sound that feels fresh and invigorating.

Bognanno brought her band to Studio A to play us a couple of the new songs and I had the chance to talk with her as well. We'll hear that conversation and performance during this episode of FUV Live.
