You likely know Bob Boilen from NPR’s "All Songs Considered" and "Tiny Desk Concerts." You may have seen him in animated form on "The Simpsons" or perhaps just bumped into him at a concert. He goes to over 500 shows a year!

Bob is widely recognized as one of the leading tastemakers in the music industry so it’s little wonder that he was approached to write a book on the topic. What he came up with is a thoughtful and engaging collection of stories based on interviews he did with 35 different musicians, from Jimmy Page to St. Vincent, Smokey Robinson to Hozier.

During this episode of FUV Live, I’ll talk with Bob about his new book, titled Your Song Changed My Life. We'll also sample some of the music discussed within the various chapters.
