The Barr Brothers - FUV Live - 2014

This Montreal based quartet is led by brothers Andrew and Brad Barr. Originally based in Boston under the name The Slip, the brothers relocated to Montreal after a fateful gig where Andrew met his future wife and band manager. Now almost 10 years later, Andrew and Brad are about to release their second album as The Barr Brothers. It's called Sleeping Operator and includes guest appearances by some of their Canadian neighbors: Richard Reed Parry from Arcade Fire, The Luyas and Patrick Watson’s band. The album also benefits from the talents of Malian artist Bassekou Kouyate.

The Barr Brothers recently stopped by Studio A to talk about and play us some of the new songs. We’ll hear that conversation and performance during this episode of FUV Live.
