The Baptists Generals are on FUV Live tonight

Formed in the late 90's, The Baptist Generals made a name for themselves as a band that mixed well with both folk and indie rocks fans. Their sound has been compared to musicians like Roky Erickson, Will Oldham and even Howlin' Wolf.

It's been a while since we've heard from this Denton, TX band though. Their last record, No Silver/No Gold was released ten years ago.

The Baptist Generals are finally back now with a new album: Jackleg Devotional to the Heart and they recently joined us in Studio A to share some of the new songs and talk about the making of the record.

The Baptist Generals are also in the midst of planning a "Living Room Tour" during September and October of this year and are looking for hosts. Find out more information about that here. The Deadline for submission is Monday, August 12th.
