Ani DiFranco: 2017

This Righteous Babe is well known for her activism, poetry and of course her music. Ani DiFranco released her self-titled debut on her own label when she was just 20 years old and now she’s now up to her 20th album, called Binary. She is also in the process of writing a memoir of her eventful and radical life.

Ani stopped by WFUV two days after the presidential election, and spoke openly about her thoughts on the current political climate and how it affects her music. She also played us a couple of her new songs and one classic too, joined by bassist Todd Sickafoose and drummer Terence Higgins. We’ll hear all of that and more during this episode of FUV Live.
