The six songs that Amythyst Kiah chose for her intimate FUV Live set at The Bitter End were all drawn from her confident, candid new album, Still + Bright, a segue of self-discovery from her 2021 album, Wary + Strange

Still + Bright is a vivid snapshot of where she stands today, freed from apologies, shame or the shackles of judgment. Her positivity is in full bloom. Kiah's ongoing evolution as a musician and songwriter, quelling inner tempests and tumbling into light, is a compelling one; to witness this Grammy-nominated artist on the storied stage of this New York venue — and relishing that next chapter — was a privilege.

Kiah's Still + Bright was produced by Butch Walker in Nashville and also marks a more collaborative space in her process; guest musicians and co-writers include Walker, Billy Strings, S.G. Goodman, Pentatonix's Avi Kaplan, and Sadler Vaden of Jason Isbell's 400 Unit backing band.

Watch Kiah in performance for FUV's Marquee Members with solo versions of "Silk and Petals," "Play God and Destroy the World" and "Gods Under the Mountain."
