Combining soul, songwriting, and the voice to match, Amos Lee's 2005 debut album was voted one of the best of the year by WFUV listeners. Every release since then has just added to his fan base and to a catalog of beloved and memorable tunes. A former teacher from Philadelphia, he's shared the stage with big names from Bob Dylan to Norah Jones, and was kind enough to join old friends Calexico (and Iron & Wine and more) to play our 2013 Holiday Cheer benefit concert. His many visits to FUV have all been enlightening, and feature heartfelt, beautiful performances.
