The Alternate Side Gets End-Of-Year Kudos From The Top 22

The Alternate Side was named one of 22 "Top Players" in AAA and Adult Rock in 2011 by the radio and music industry blogsite The Top 22. The station was cited, at  #14, for its "super-hip indie rock mix." 

The entry for TAS reads: "In what might be one of the best-kept secrets in Adult Rock, WFUV launched another station in New York this year. Kind of. The kid sister specialty show/HD channel of WFUV, The Alternate Side, brokered a deal to put six hours of its super-hip indie rock mix on WNYE — the big signal (but also-ran) station owned by the City of New York. That’s 6 a.m. to noon on 91.5 FM. Congrats to all involved."
