Zak Smith - Sunday Breakfast - 2014

Zak Smith is an award-winning songwriter from the very hip community of Montclair, NJ, who acknowledges a certain other Jersey Guy by the name of Bruce as a an influence. Myself, I also hear echoes of Van Morrison in his soulful singing. Accompanied by a second guitarist and a pair of terrific backup singers, he performed a couple of songs from his latest CD, Signs of Life, as well as a new tune, in this session for the Sunday Breakfast.
