White Reaper: Rockwood Music Hall 2023
The FUV Live show with White Reaper at Rockwood Music Hall is one that none of us who were lucky enough to be there will soon forget. The place was packed. The music was loud. The audience was rapt. These guys out of Louisville have the hooks and the chops and the swagger and the songs that make you want to turn up the radio or turn up at the venue.
The band was incendiary and by the time their set was over they were dripping with sweat. The occasion for the performance was the release of the new album, their fourth studio effort, Asking for a Ride. We got the full quintet made up of Tony Esposito on guitar and vocals, Ryan Hater on keyboards, Hunter Thompson on guitar and vocals, and brothers Nick Wilkerson on drums and Sam Wilkerson on bass.
Before the show I spoke with the guys and they fondly recalled their visit to our Bronx studios in late 2019 and after the show we agreed that there would be a next time. Looking forward to it already!
