With the school year coming to a close we can now reflect on what we've learned - specifically what we've learned from rock 'n' roll. Lyrics are full of life lessons, adages...take-aways.

Paul Simon offers, "One man's ceiling is another man's floor." Tracy Chapman reminds us, "All that you have is your soul." And "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need" is from The Stones.

Share a line from a song that has stuck with you as words of wisdom. We'll spin a set after 9am.

Here's what we played:

Nick Lowe "True Love Travels On A Gravel Road"
True love travels on a gravel road

Amy Winehouse "Love Is a Losing Game"
Love is a losing game

Joni Mitchell "Big Yellow Taxi"
Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you got 'til it's gone

The Flying Lizards "Money"
The best things in life are free
But you can keep 'em for the birds and bees
Now give me money

New Radicals "You Get What You Give"
You get what you give
