WFUV at SXSW 2014: Temples

Temples has generated a whole lotta adulation in a short time. Formed in Northamptonshire, England in 2012 by singer-guitarist James Edward Bagshaw and bassist Thomas Edison Warmsley, they've mesmerized the press and some heavy-hitting rock god fans as well.

Plus they look fabulous. It's like Marc Bolan has somehow been reincarnated with his guitar collection intact.

Temples' self-produced debut album, Sun Structures, just came out in February, and if you've heard it you'll recognize much of this glam-meriffic live set from the Public Radio Rocks Day Stage showcase at SXSW 2014. More at templestheband.com.

Funding for WFUV's ongoing coverage of live concerts and festivals comes from The Agnes Varis Trust, supporting affordable access to the arts, education and healthcare.
