Vaccine mandates vs. Individual Liberty

Just when we thought the pandemic was almost over a new delta variant strain of covid is causing infections and hospitalizations to climb.  As a result, some leaders, lawmakers, and businesses are mandating that every adult be vaccinated. But that is not sitting well with the unvaccinated residents who have questions and concerns.

Fordham University Political Science Professor Nicholas Tampio joins Fordham Conversations host Robin Shannon.  Tampio discusses why he believes a mask mandate could cause a backlash.  He co-wrote The Washington Post article "Vaccine mandates will backfire. People will resist even more."
