TORRES: 2017

As she began the process of writing and recording her new album Three Futures, Mackenzie Scott, better known as TORRES, experimented with some new sounds. Adding more electronic elements and beats to the mix has created a new feel for the tension in her songwriting.

The combination is some of her best work to date, so I was thrilled to sit down with Scott again to talk about the making of the album and lots more. Listen to that conversation and watch great live versions of “Skim” and the title track, too.
