Tony Fletcher - Words and Music - 2010
British music journalist and writer Tony Fletcher got his start with the fanzine Jamming, and has written biographies of Keith Moon, R.EM., and Echo and the Bunnymen. His new book 'All Hopped Up and Ready to Go' takes on New York's music scene from 1927-1977, and he told WFUV's Nora Flaherty that for a New York act to get booed off stage, sometimes they only had to travel as far as Connecticut.
