Sunset
Tonight at sundown New Yorkers will be positioning themselves for a view of the sunset known as Manhattanhenge. A couple of times each year the sun lines up with the east-west cross streets of Manhattan to create great views of the sunset. To mark the occasion let's have your favorite songs about the sun (bonus points for sunset songs). We'll spin a set after 9 a.m.
Here's what we played:
John Hiatt "Lipstick Sunset"
Bruce Springsteen "Sundown"
Elton John "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me"
PJ Harvey with Thom Yorke "This Mess We're In"
