Tonight at sundown New Yorkers will be positioning themselves for a view of the sunset known as Manhattanhenge. A couple of times each year the sun lines up with the east-west cross streets of Manhattan to create great views of the sunset. To mark the occasion let's have your favorite songs about the sun (bonus points for sunset songs). We'll spin a set after 9am.

Here's what we played:

Iris DeMent "Our Town"

The Platters "Twilight Time"

Wilco "A Magazine Called Sunset"

Ella Fitzgerald "In the Evening (When the Sun Goes Down)"

Lucinda Williams "Big Red Sun Blues"
