On tonight's "Shocking Blue" at 8 p.m., I have a heartfelt conversation with trip hop pioneer Tricky, coinciding with the release of his new album, Different When It's Silent, released yesterday.
It's a terrific album and longtime fans will be very satisfied with it. We covered a range of topics including his current music collaborators, why this album is a Tricky album rather than a side project, and the music scene in his hometown of Bristol.
We also spoke about the death of his daughter and the profound effect of this tragedy on his life and music.
