Shocking Blue Debuts Tonight

Many listeners remember hearing "Shocking Blue" on WFUV from 2002-2003 at midnight. Now, "Shocking Blue" is back on Saturday nights from 8-11 p.m.
I started the show in October 1986, long before the internet or streaming music services had arrived. All we had was radio, but I wanted to bring music to the airwaves that was primarily heard in clubs. At the time, that’s where new music was broken.
The name "Shocking Blue" was meant to describe a wildly adventurous and refreshing radio show presented by a DJ named Delphine Blue. Expect to dance, soak in the sounds, sit up, open your ears, and take note.
I’m thrilled to bring "Shocking Blue" to you Saturday evenings here on member-supported WFUV at 90.7FM, streaming online, and in the Archives after broadcast.
