Rickie Lee Jones: 2015

A sense of place often informs an artist's work. Rickie Lee Jones recently moved to the Bywater neighborhood in New Orleans. She has found much inspiration in her new home, a place just across the street from playwright Tennessee Williams's old house, hence her new album's title: The Other Side of Desire.

The album has classic Rickie Lee Jones soulfulness with Cajun melodies, brass, and even a Christmas tune. We are always psyched to spend some time talking with Jones, tapping into her creativity, her love of all kinds of music and her always relevant history.
