A malfunctioning space heater sparked a deadly fire at a high-rise Bronx apartment building Sunday, January 9, in New York City's deadliest blaze in three decades.  Below are some ways you can help:

- New York City Mayor Eric Adams has set up a fund.

- A GoFundMe has been launched by the Gambian Youth Organization.

- Clothing, toiletries and other donated items can be dropped off at Bronx Community Board 10 - 3165 E. Tremont Avenue.

- For those who were impacted by the fire, texting “181STFIRE” to 692692 will provide updates about resources and services available.

- Families in need can call 1-877-RED CROSS (1-877-733-2767) for help.

- More options via The New York Times.
