Question of the Day: Is the Weather Really Getting Worse?
On this day in 1950 the "Storm Of The Century" tore through the Eastern US. A Category 5 by today's standards, this monster cyclone--The Great Appalachian Storm--brought Hurricane force winds to the mountains of New England and Sub-zero temperatures to the deep South.
Summon up some stormy song suggestions as we splash through this wet windy and warm late November morning...wondering if weather will be the most changeable and troubling aspect of our collective future.
Here's what we played:
"Blizzard of '77" - Nada Surf
"Telephone Road" - Rodney Crowell
"Stormy Monday Blues" - Allman Brothers Band
"Stormy Weather" - Lena Horne
