POP ETC at WFUV

The Brooklyn-based trio POP ETC recently released their latest album, Souvenir, an aptly titled record filled with personal songs that feel like little time capsules. With chief songwriter Chris Chu at the helm alongside his brother, Jon Chu, and drummer Julian Harmon, the band's new effort is quite a collaborative one.  It's clear that much care and detail went into the making of Souvenir in the hopes of creating a free-flowing album. I think they succeeded in accomplishing that goal.

POP ETC stopped by Studio A before heading out on the road to play great live versions of "Vice" and "What Am I Becoming?" Also, listen to my conversation with Chris about the new songs, the importance of making an "album," and more.
