Pianist Peter Eldridge is a founding member of New York Voices, as well as a solo artist, composer, teacher (one of whose students was Jane Monheit), in demand sideman, and all around nice guy.

For this session, in advance of appearing at "On Your Radar" on December 13, 2016, he brought along his longtime collaborator, Matt Aronoff, on upright bass, and Kirk Newman on drums. We talked about his different projects, his musical inspirations (Joni Mitchell and Steely Dan), and a performance with Bobby McFerrin, and he performed a couple of songs from his latest album, Disappearing Day.
