New York City Whale Watching Tours Aim to Protect the Creatures

Urban areas like New York City are becoming increasingly known as locations where you can spot whales close to the coastline. Whale advocates report a dramatic increase in sightings in the past decade. The research organization Gotham Whale reports more than fifty new humpback sightings on New York’s coast added to their catalog this season.
